PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Join the museum staff of the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board for an informative virtual, webcast tour of the Ohio Statehouse that will focus on the process of how a bill becomes a law. See the spaces where Ohio history is made every day!

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
1. Participants will learn that the Ohio Statehouse is their state’s capitol building and the seat of Ohio’s government.
2. Participants will understand that the legislative branch of Ohio’s government works at the Statehouse and that they are responsible for creating Ohio’s laws. Ohio’s laws.
3. Participants will follow the process of how a bill becomes a law in the state of Ohio.

PROGRAM FORMAT
• Participants will learn that the Ohio Statehouse is their state’s capitol building and the seat of Ohio’s government.
• Participants will understand that the legislative branch of Ohio’s government works at the Statehouse and that they are responsible for creating Ohio’s laws.
• Participants will follow the process of how a bill becomes a law in the state of Ohio.

This program will be delivered through Zoom, a free cloud-based video conferencing solution, to deliver this program. Sites can connect through any wired internet enabled device. In this live, interactive, TV-style broadcast, your students will interact with the presenter through text-based, question & answer session.
